Health Aide
Duties and responsibilities: Home health aides usually work for
companies that provide in-home assistance to ill, injured, elderly, or disabled
customers. Their duties include taking the blood pressure, temperature,
and pulse of patients. They help patients get in and out of bed, take
baths, and dress.
Salary: $8,000-$18,000
Education: Most employers prefer that nursing
assistants and aides have a high school diploma or GED certificate. Some
vocational schools and community colleges offer training programs.
Reflection: I think I wouldn’t like to be a home health
aide because it's something that doesn't catch my attention because i wouldn't want to be spending all day at a house taking care of sick patients, i wouldn't want someone else's life to depend on me, because what if i can't do nothing
about their disease and then after wards im going to feel guilty.
