Student Success Statement
"The best way to predict your future is to create it"
- Charles Ketterer
Charles states and believes that only we can choose what way our lives end up. We make choices and we live by those choices. So if we set good choices for our future we should be expecting a great future ahead of us. Most ways to have a good future is by getting the education you need and simply know how to survive in the real world, therefore you should prepare yourself for anything the future may bring. Maybe right now you don't see much importance of anything but you can set goals for yourself right now that you might want to follow later on in life and you'll see how that will benefit you in a great way, you probably weren't expecting. Right now since we're still in the present most people don't see the necessity right now, but later on good outcomes can come out of this, thats why life planning ahead on time is a good thing.

STUDENT SUCCESS STATEMENT

“The right way is not always the popular and easy way. Standing for right when it is unpopular is a true test of moral character.” – Margaret Chase Smith

This quote implies how most people won’t settle for what it is right because they are too scared/ afraid of sticking up for what is right. No matter what you should always stick to what is right because it is such uh good feeling. Many people think by choosing the wrong makes them cool, well no it doesn’t. those people are just ignorant because they rather just make fun of others which is wrong. If you do right, you will always be rewarded.

“Goodness is the only investment that never fails”- Henry David Thoreau

In this quote henry is informing that when you’re doing right you’ll be able to go far in life. You’ll accomplish things you probably didn’t even know you could accomplish. By choosing the wrong you’ll end up nowhere in life, you will just keep going through struggles and suffer you will get nowhere like that. If you do good , is much more easier for you to do good and not fail at life. By doing goodness is much easier for you to actually get somewhere in life. It may take time , but good things always take time.

"To know what is right and not to do it is the worst cowardice" - Confucius

This quote has a meaning that if you know or see something being done and is wrong and you stay still and do nothing about it because you're afraid or scared, that's one of the lowest things you could do , it just shows how weak you really are. Even by seeing wrong things being done and staying quiet doesn't mean you're doing right, it shows your weakness. This quote really falls under the category of "choosing the right" .

"Always Do Right" - Mark Twain

"Always Do Right" is a form of telling us to do right in any moment possible whether you want to do wrong. There may be circumstances where you might feel the need of doing wrong , like lying in order to save yourself from something wrong you've done before but you don't realize that things are just getting worst for you. That's why a form of doing the right thing all the time and when most needed always results in good deeds. If you start off right , you end up right.

Student Success Statement

"Start with what is right rather than what is acceptable" - Peter F. Drucker

Reflection: I believe that if you go for what is right it would not only make you feel great about yourself but you'll show a positive impact on others. If you stick to what is acceptable but is wrong, you'll show others an wrong impression. You shouldn't lower yourself to negative things when you know you can do things the right way. If you know something is wrong and still choose to accept it and do the wrong thing instead of the right, you'll risk yourself into negative consequences.
