Class Reflection:

Part 1-4

1. What did you like best about this class?
I like how our teacher was able to teach us new things and computer programs. We also learned a lot about to use excel and how to type faster.

2. What did you dislike about this class?
I disliked how their isn’t a lot of free time. I also disliked the life planning notebook because many times you forget to bring it to class and then your grade does down a lot .

3. What can you recommend to improve this class?
There should be more free time so students can just look around the computer for a little while and try to learn something on their own.
4. What will you always remember about this class?
I will remember how positive our teacher would always be. He would always want us to be happy and successful but in a right way. His quotes he would put up for us would always be inspiring and that’s something I’ll always remember.

Part 2-4
I think I’m doing so good so far according my 100 goals.  I’ve accomplished many now on the long run. And now that I’ll be graduating on Saturday two days from now, I will be able to accomplish many more goals from my 100 goals life planning notebook. I know there are many goals I still need to work on because I haven’t accomplished them and some well I’m not legal to do yet because you have to be 21. I’ve been reading my goals every day for two minutes because my teacher Mr.Haymore has motivated me to do so, so now that I’m graduating and leaving his class doesn’t mean I’ll stop reading them, I’ll actually add more goals and accomplish them.
Part 3-4

Neurologists

duties and responsibilities:

Neurologists may work in hospitals, clinics or universities treating patients, conducting research or teaching students. They are experts at the diagnosis and treatment of neurological disorders, including stroke, dementia and neuromuscular diseases. As clinicians, neurologists examine patients and may order and interpret diagnostic tests in order to determine the best course of treatment. As researchers, they may participate in clinical studies and other research, write articles for medical journals and give presentations at professional meetings.

salary:
 $209,394 - $380,275

education:

Similar to other physicians, neurologists must begin their careers by going to college and then attending medical school. As an undergraduate, aspiring doctors who major in a science, such as biology, chemistry or physics, will be better prepared for a medical school curriculum. Although most colleges do not have a pre-med major because medical schools do not require any specific major, some schools do offer a pre-med concentration that may include the biology, chemistry, physics and math courses required by medical schools. After college, aspiring neurologists must attend a medical school accredited by the Liaison Committee on Medical Education (LCME) and then pass the United States Medical Licensing Examination (USMLE). At that point, a doctor enters a residency in neurology that usually lasts three or four years. This residency may include rotations in related specialties and subspecialties like behavioral neurology, multiple sclerosis and child neurology. After the residency is complete, clinical fellowship programs in neurology are also available for doctors who wish to specialize further in such areas as epilepsy, movement disorders and neuroscience.

Duties And Responsibilities:
The practice of medicine in the United States dates back to colonial times (early 1600s). At the beginning of the 17th century, medical practice in England was divided into three groups: the physicians, the surgeons, and the apothecaries.
Physicians were seen as elite and usually held a university degree. Surgeons were typically hospital-trained and they did apprenticeships. They often served the dual role of barber-surgeon. Apothecaries also learned their roles (prescribing, making, and selling medicines) through apprenticeships, sometimes in hospitals.

Salary:
$188,000

Education:
Medical doctors (M.D.s) are physicians who work in hospitals, clinics, medical centers or private practices. M.D.s treat people for illnesses and injuries. They also prescribe medications, order diagnostic tests, diagnose ailments and record patient information. Becoming a medical doctor requires completing specific undergraduate coursework, graduating from medical school and completing a residency program. The following table contains essential requirements for doctors of medicine.

Eastern Medicine Doctor

Duties and responsibilities :
Oriental medicine practitioners use forms of acupuncture and treatment through the Chinese concept of “qi,” which means energy. Oriental medicine treats a variety of ailments including headaches, back pain, arthritis, or other illnesses by identifying patterns of imbalance within a body’s energy levels and working to readjust fluids or tissues in order to keep the body in balance and relieve pain. Oriental medicine techniques include acupuncture, cupping, acupressure, and herbal supplements that are applied to specific body parts or tissues. Practitioners must be able to evaluate a patient’s symptoms and identify what organs or tissues are causing the ailment, and come up with a customized plan that incorporates oriental herbs and practices into a treatment

Salary:
$61,000

Education:
Education and training requirements vary state to state for becoming an oriental medicine practitioner. Some practitioners are licensed to be a physician’s assistant and then take classes to become certified in oriental medicine. Most practitioners earn a Bachelor’s degree in biology or another medical related field, then go on to fill state requirements for practicing oriental medicine. Most states require students to work as an intern or apprentice for a specific number of hours in order to qualify for certification, and then have them take an examination to become certified through the National Certification Commission for Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine Most training is obtained during an internship or apprenticeship, and many students who work as intern often get hired in as a full-time practitioner once their certification is obtained.
